Portsmouth, NH December 01, 2020 – Enventure has been selected to support the SAP implementation by enhancing the MRO Data quality, and more specifically providing an industry-standard taxonomy across material categories for a global leader in steel production.
The client is known for the production and distribution of high-quality steel across Europe and North America.
The client is performing an organization-wide SAP implementation to capitalize on the full potential of SAP in – reporting, visibility of production costs, and spend optimization. Until now, the client has been using various ERP systems, and the lack of data integration was evident amongst supply chain, procurement, and multiple plants. Enventure performed a sample data analysis to identify gaps in the client’s inventory and provided potential visibility on revenue savings, enhanced plant uptime, and supplier risk mitigation.
The project covers a major task of providing a single golden database of MRO data in English and other European languages, with the UNSPSC code for each line item, thus enabling a successful SAP S4/Hana implementation.

The availability of technology, experience with MRO data, and subject matter expertise is the key to win this contract for Enventure. The combination of the right taxonomy and cleansed, classified, enriched data in English and the other European languages makes data integration easier with the new SAP implementation. Enventure will deploy an AI-based MRO platform – Partlinq® – to manage client’s data with built-in taxonomies, a growing database of MRO parts & assets, and seamlessly integrated with SAP S4/Hana.
The accelerated MRO Data Excellence program will empower a more agile approach towards consolidating plant operations, performance, enhance real-time spend visibility, and exploit the huge growth opportunity in the overall supply chain function.
