RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for Lead on Civil/Structural effort on Projects
- Manage multiple, simultaneous projects in multiple business lines.
- Participates in engineering department initiatives, meetings, project reviews and client feedback sessions.
- Perform technical studies and calculations.
- Competency in the design and detailing of steel and concrete structures including pipe racks, pipe supports, pump foundations, vessel foundation and similar industrial type structures.
- Design of equipment foundations.
- Preparing engineering cost and man-hour estimates and schedules.
- Design shallow and deep foundations.
- Responsible for analysis and design of various super structures and foundations for industrial facilities, design of steel and concrete buildings.
- Preparing detail design calculation report and reviewing the detail drawings and layout.
- Geotechnical report review, analysis and provide comments/clarifications.
- Review of equipment vendor drawings and fabrication drawings.
- Good knowledge of American codes (AISC, ACI, ASCE), Euro, Norsk, Canadian, NZS, AUS & Indian Codes in design of steel structures and familiar with codes UBC, IBC, API RP 2A and AISC recommended practices and Codes.
- Ability to use engineering software programs such as: RISA Floor, RISA 3D, RISA Foundations, RISA Connection, STAAD PRO, Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat and/or Bluebeam Revu, AutoCAD, NAVISworks.
- Review and approve engineering and project cost estimates
- Review and approve equipment selections.
- Oversight of quality of design; issue engineering and construction packages.
- Participate in business development and client relationships
- Oversight of QCQA of work product.
- Oversight of records management.
- Demonstrated ability to plan, organize and communicate effectively.
- Maintains safety in design and work environment.
- Capture internal client requirements and if needed, advise them regarding structural/civil systems/requirements available to meet their needs and comply with safety codes.

Qualification & Experience |
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized institution.
- Masters in Structural Engineering an added advantage.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
- Minimum 8 years of working experience in supporting projects in Refinery, Petrochemical or Midstream (pipeline and terminals) and industrial facilities and building.
- Understanding of codes and standards (IS, ASCE, ACI, IBC, AISC etc.) and its applicability for practical design of industrial facilities and buildings.
- Dynamic personality, eager to learn and interested in a stable commitment.
